Marco Tripi

President of Almawave, Marco Tripi also holds the positions of CEO of Almaviva and Almaviva do Brasil.
He was born in Rome in 1969 and has a degree in Economics and Commerce.
In 1997, he worked in the Marketing Department of BNL Multiservizi, the IT and telematics services company of the BNL Group.
In 1999, he joined the Almaviva Group, first as Marketing Director and, since 2001, as Managing Director.
In 2008, he joined the Board of Directors of the Union of Industrialists and Enterprises of Rome.
In March 2010, he was appointed Vice President of the Board of Directors of Assinform – the Italian Association for Information Technology linked to Confindustria.
Since June 2013, he has been a member of the Board of Assonime (Association of Italian Joint-Stock Companies).
In September 2016 he was appointed, for the four-year period 2016-2020, Vice President with responsibility for the Digital Transformation of Unindustria Lazio, where he had previously held the position of Vice President with responsibility for the development of the Digital Agenda and Simplification.
In June 2018, he was elected, for the two-year period 2018-2020, as a member of the General Council of the Assembly of Asstel, the trade association of telecommunications companies belonging to Confindustria, where, from 2008 to 2015, he had held the position of Vice President.
Antonio Amati

Besides being Vice President of Almawave, he holds the position of General Manager of the IT Division, is President of Almaviva Digitaltec, Lombardia Gestione, WEDOO and ReActive and Sole Director of Data Jam.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of Almaviva and of SIN, a public law company controlled by Agea, a member of Cor, the joint Cnipa and Enterprise committee for the management of the SPC contract for interoperability between public administrations and Vice President of the Information Technology Section of Unindustria.
Born in Rome in 1958, he holds a degree in Philosophy and, in addition to a Master’s degree in Strategic Planning from SDA Bocconi, he has obtained numerous specialisations in European universities.
From 1986 to ’95 he held progressively more important positions at Database Informatica, until becoming Director of Strategic Business Area.
In 1995 he joined EDS Italia as Sales Director.
In 1999, he became Managing Director of EDS PA, dedicated to the public sector. In this company, he managed the start-up of interoperability services for Consip, Ministry of Justice, INPS, INAIL, INPDAP.
From 2000 to 2002, he was Managing Director of Voinoi (Acea Group).
In 2002, he was Director of the Government area of Finsiel.
From 2005, as Director of Almaviva’s Central Public Administration area, he oversaw the company’s participation in important country projects, such as: the electronic passport, the National Services Card, the Regional Services Card of the Lombardy Region.
Valeria Sandei

Valeria Sandei is CEO of Almawave, a subsidiary of the Almaviva Group and listed on Euronext Growth Milan (AIW.MI), active in the field of Data & Artificial Intelligence.
She is President of The Data Appeal Company, SisTer, Almawave do Brasil, Almawave USA and Mabrian Technologies, vice-president of the Fondazione Musica per Roma and Counselor of OBDA Systems (formerly a spin-off of La Sapienza University of Rome).
She is a member of the B7 Advisory Board, co-author of 3 US Patents, TEDx speaker and among Forbes List of Italy’s 100 Most Powerful Women in 2021 and among the 100 Women in Conversational AI 2023.
In 2023, she received the “Mela d’Oro 2023” Award for the management of the Bellisario Foundation, the Excellence Key Award, and the CEOforLIFE Award 2023, in the area of “Innovation”. She was also awarded the Business Excellence Award for Innovation sponsored by the Italian Stock Exchange, a Como lake Award in the “Artificial Intelligence and Metaverse” category and, in 2022, the AssoNEXT “Best ESG Identity” Award.
Graduated with honors in Economics of Financial Markets at Bocconi University, she started her professional career at JP Morgan, then at Accenture (Strategy Financial Services).
She has been with the Almaviva Group since 2004, where she has held various positions, including the Group’s Strategic Marketing Officer. Since 2007 she has been appointed CEO of Almawave, group that she led to the listing on the Milan Stock Exchange in March 2021.
Paolo Ciccarelli

He graduated in Business Administration in 1982 and has been a chartered accountant since 1985. Between 1990 and 1994 he worked at the Fininvest Group, also taking part in new business development projects. In July 1994, he was appointed Head of Administration, Finance and Control of the Board of Borsa Italiana. Within the Borsa Italiana Group, he also held the positions of Chief Financial Officer and Director of the Cassa di Compensazione e Garanzia. He was also Director of Finance of the London Stock Exchange and, from June 2008 to September 2010, Chief Financial Officer of Barclays Italia and Chairman of Barclays Family S.p.A.. He has held and still holds various positions on the Boards of Directors of listed and unlisted companies. He is an independent Director of Almaviva S.p.A.
Christian De Felice

He holds a degree in statistics and actuarial science from the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’. He started his career at the London office of Banca di Roma, then he was Treasurer at Omnitel (now Vodafone), Head of Finance and Treasury for three years at e.Biscom (now Fastweb) and Finance Director of Safilo Group for seven years. Since 2012 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Almaviva. In addition, he is Chief Financial Officer of the Almaviva Group and member of the Board of Directors of several companies of the Almaviva Group.
Smeraldo Fiorentini

He holds a degree in computer science from the University of Salerno. He has worked with leading consulting companies: Arthur Andersen S.p.A. (from 1999 to 2002, as a senior manager); Ernst & Young S.p.A. (from 2002 to 2004, as a manager); Deloitte&Touche S.p.A. (from 2004 to 2009, as a partner). He is General Manager of the Transportation division of Almaviva S.p.A. and has been a member of its Board of Directors since May 2020. In addition, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors of several companies of the Almaviva Group.
Raniero Romagnoli

He graduated in Computer Science from the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’ and did a research period at Sidney University in 1997. He started his professional career in 1998, holding various positions in leading international companies such as Atos Origin, Hewlett-Packard and RSA/EMC. Since 2011, he has been working at Almawave, initially as Director of Research and Development and Product Manager, and since 2016 as Chief Technology Officer. He is Managing Director of OBDA Systems.
Luisa Torchia

Torchia graduated from the Faculty of Law of Rome in 1978. Since November 1994, she has been full professor of administrative law and, since 1 June 2004, she has been full professor of administrative law at the Faculty of Law of Roma Tre. She studied and taught at various Italian and foreign universities and research institutes, including Nuffield College, Oxford, St-John’s College, Cambridge, Princeton University, the Max Planck Institute in Heidelberg and the London School of Economics. During her long academic career, she has collaborated with numerous scientific journals, as an author as well as a member of the related management committees. She was also Chair of the Scientific Technical Committee for Strategic Control in State Administrations and was a member of numerous study commissions on administrative reforms. She has also been a member of various Boards of Directors.
