Almawave and CBI sign agreement to offer new fintech services to Italian banks

Almawave (EGM: AIW), an Almaviva Group company, a leader in Artificial Intelligence (AI), natural language analysis and Big Data services, and CBI, a company participated by 400 payment service providers that develops digital services, including open finance services, in collaborative logic to support the financial industry and Public Administration, announce that they have signed a partnership in the fintech field.
The agreement has as its object the provision of the Alternative Data solution for Smart Lending, that is, the offering of new fintech services to Italian banks and credit institutions, through the use of alternative data, provided by The Data Appeal Company, an Almawave Group company. These, available by accessing multiple digital sources, information present online and by resorting to advanced Artificial Intelligence algorithms, allow for the precise analysis of content and functional information to improve customer understanding and parameters useful for more effective operational management, increasingly oriented towards sustainability.

Valeria Sandei, CEO of Almawave, emphasized, “The partnership with CBI makes it possible to facilitate the introduction of our Group’s solutions into the Italian banking market and to take important steps towards an increasingly digital, data driven and sustainable banking institution model. In fact, this partnership, as it is in Almawave’s mission, aims to make the potential of Artificial Intelligence more tangible in people’s daily lives and, if on the one hand it will allow banks, through data analysis, to better understand the situation and needs of customers, on the other hand it will enable them to offer better and more effective products to customers, also reducing time-to-market.”

Liliana Fratini Passi, General Manager of CBI, highlighted, “CBI and Almawave open the door to new open finance paradigms to enable Payment Service Providers to easily use fintech services characterized by high technological complexity. The development of valuable partnerships, such as the one with Almawave, provides the financial industry with an important experiential asset, based on collaboration for better competition, enabling the creation of a new paradigm of ‘doing banking’ that is increasingly innovative and sustainable.”
