Tomorrow Almawave will be at the Eighth Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics
28 June 2022
Linguistics, cognitive science, machine learning, computer science, knowledge representation: in the belief that the complexity of linguistic phenomena requires interdisciplinary expertise, the Italian Association of Computational Linguistics brings together researchers from diverse disciplines at CliC-it every year.
Almawave, sponsor of the event to be held at the Milano-Bicocca University, will present the research paper “FANCY: A Diagnostic Data-Set for NLI Models” tomorrow with Flavia Achena. The project involved the analysis of FANCY, a dataset that groups sentences concerning complex linguistic phenomena, to determine, through Natural Languange Inference, whether a hypothesis is true, false or indeterminate. The research was conducted by testing two of the best performing neural network models such as BERT and RoBERTa.
