General Assembly of Smart Cities: Almaviva Group among the key players in the new edition
24 October 2025
The sixth edition of the General Assembly of Smart Cities, organized by City Vision, concluded in Padua. Administrators, innovators, companies, and researchers from all over Italy came together to discuss a single major goal: building the future of our cities together. Among the key participants was AlmavivA Group, which actively contributed through a desk at the Innovation District of the Agora and participation in several working tables.
Among our experts, Matteo Carini, Head of Pre-Sales and Vertical Solutions, took part in the table “Artificial Intelligence in the Public Administration: a revolution underway”, emphasizing:
“The Velvet model family represents a strategic evolution in the application of Artificial Intelligence to the public domain, thanks to its ability to integrate symbolic and linguistic reasoning over federated knowledge bases. Within the Reg4AI framework, Velvet enables regional experiments aimed at enhancing information assets and building contextualized intelligent assistants capable of interpreting regulations, acts, and multi-level procedural flows. Compared to the Smart City paradigm, Velvet models support the creation of cognitive Digital Twins, able to correlate territorial, sensor, and administrative data to optimize urban services and decision-making. The added value lies in modularity, algorithmic transparency, and semantic interoperability—key elements for a data-driven and responsible public administration.”
