With its accuracy and comprehensiveness, this monthly section provides a detailed overview of the most relevant events, awards acquired and highlights that have shaped our journey over the past month.
The month of January was marked by a set of very important events that enhanced the company and our offerings. In particular there was the launch of Velvet: a family of multilingual generative Artificial Intelligence models. These are Velvet 14B and Velvet 2B, foundational Large Language Model (LLM) and Instruct, developed entirely by the company in Italy on its own architecture, and trained on the Leonardo supercomputer operated by Cineca.
