What is SGMS?
Smart Gas Management System (SGMS) is the enterprise platform for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing gas distribution services through the advanced use of data, artificial intelligence, and digital network models.
Designed by Sister, a company within the Almawave Group, it supports the efficient, safe, and sustainable management of gas networks.
How does it work?
SGMS integrates data from field devices and gas network management systems into a single platform. It collects measurements of pressure, flow rate, temperature, and gas quality, along with anomaly reports and technical information on pipelines and substations.
By processing territorial data in an advanced GIS (Geographic Information System), the system creates a Digital Twin of the network, offering operators a unified and up-to-date view, with predictive models that highlight anomalies and critical issues in advance.
The Decision Support System (DSS) transforms data into analyses and operational recommendations, facilitating the timely detection of gas leaks, distribution optimization, and maintenance planning. The result is a safer and more efficient network, with less waste and reduced operating costs.
