Partnership between Sonders&Beach and The Data Appeal Company

Sonders&Beach has signed a partnership with The Data Appeal Company, an Almawave Group company, for the development of a tool with which the online perception of a destination, accommodation and tour operators there can be verified from an inclusion perspective, building on the protocol already in place for the QueerVadis label.

At TTG Incontri Sonders&Beach announced with The Data Appeal Company the development of the world’s first LGBTQ+ Index for measuring online sentiment with respect to tour operators and territories on Diversity&Inclusion Program issues.

“Our tourism needs to be able to rely on truly inclusive and open services, facilities and destinations in line with the priorities of contemporary travelers. This is why we are very pleased to be able to collaborate on a project that is as ambitious as it is necessary: to offer the possibility for operators and destinations to measure and demonstrate through data and artificial intelligence their commitment to building inclusive spaces and experiences in the true sense of the term,” confirms Mirko Lalli, CEO and founder of The Data Appeal Company and Chief Group Digital Strategy Officer of Almawave.

“Both of our companies have been attentive to social inclusion issues for years. This project was born a year ago from a simple chat with CEO Mirko Lalli in which we decided to bring together our respective expertise: on the one hand The Data Appeal Company, with its expertise in advanced data measurement and analysis, and on the other Sonders&Beach with its 20 years of know-how on issues of social sustainability and inclusion in the tourism industry.” Said Alessio Virgili – CEO Sonders&Beach.

The unique platform in Italy is essential for understanding the tourism image of our country internationally and is based on Artificial Intelligence technologies and big data analysis. It is an important step forward in the evaluation and enhancement of the Italian offer, a tool for innovation and continuous improvement, integrable in the commercial and branding strategies for any tourism organization, which intends to stand out for concrete and verifiable actions of hospitality well profiled for the LGBTQ+ traveler.
